Following is an announcement concerning the September Camp Atterbury all 1,000 yard black powder match.
Rifles – Any safe original or reproduction traditional muzzle loading or cartridge style firearm in the mid to late 1800’s era of International Rifle Matches shooting black powder.
Note that pre-registration is required.
Volume #4 of our Sharps Firearms series is ready to go to our printer and we are pleased to be able to again offer a pre-publication discount. The history and specifications of each model are accompanied by Ron Paxton’s superb photography. Volume #4 meets or exceeds the quality of the previous three volumes.
Migration from the old domain is well underway, but may take a couple of months to complete.
This final Volume IV of this series on the complete history of Sharps Firearms is final book of the four-volume set and covers all of the various Sharps Model 1878 rifles and carbines under the Borchardt patent, as well as the line-throwing guns, double-barreled shotguns, and Sharps & Hankins rifles and carbines. Also discussed are the modern Sharps firearms that have reached their own special collector and shooters’ interest.
