For many years Dick Labowskie owned the surviving Sharps Corporate Records and provided a service for researching and “lettering” original Sharps rifles.
The records have recently changed hands and the new owners have set up a library to house everything. Tisha Johnson is the contact and is now able to provide serial number documentation from the original records of the Sharps Rifle Company. Further details of the service provided and contact information are on the recently published circular letter (below) .
This looks to be a great service for owners of original Sharps rifle to document the history of their rifle.
